Decorations coming down

uptown-decorations-removed

The last of the Christmas lights on display in trees along the sidewalks of uptown Westerville are removed and placed into storage until next year. Most of the trees along the streets are only in their second year of growth and still small enough to be decorated from street level without use of ladders or aerial trucks.

The Christmas Star may have been temporarily removed from Main and State but a new star is atop the Christmas Tree in front of City Hall just in time for Friday’s official Christmas season lighting ceremony.
