Uptown Gas Line Repairs

gas line repairs in uptown westerville HDR editing with oloneo photoengine

Miller Pipeline workers install new gas lines under State Street along College Ave. after repairs were made in the gas line adjacent to Westerville Antiques.

Photo is a single frame RAW file from a Nikon D3100 processed with Oloneo PhotoEngine Beta software. Used one of the preset Grunge filters and modified the setting to lessen the effect. Then lifted midtones in Photoshop and did a slight burn to the corners before cropping out the cluttered and distracting background.

Although I have several different angles of the workers, I chose this frame because the steel plates used to line the excavation are near perfect framing devices to pull the viewer into the hole where the action happens.
