
Easy Stop Action or Blurred?
I’m always looking for easy ways to effectively demonstrate immutable photo techniques. While on a walk earlier this week I decided to use the spray from an inadvertently activated water spigot to demonstrate shutter speed techniques for blurring and stopping action.
The first photo, shot at 1/500th of a second, has nearly stopped the droplets of water formed from the spigot spray. Each blob of liquid is relatively well-formed and defined. A shorter shutter speed would have frozen their movements even more precise. [Read more...]
